The Best websites in 2024 to create your registry
Hey, mama! 💕 I’m beyond thrilled to share my ultimate list of 50 baby must-haves for your registry! These are all items that I absolutely love and use with my own little bundle of joy, and I truly believe they’re the best out there. Your baby deserves nothing but the finest, so I’m excited to pass along these top picks that have made my own parenting journey smoother and more enjoyable. 🌟
Just a little heads-up: If you decide to purchase any of these fantastic items through the Amazon links I’ve provided, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is a tiny way to support my blog and keep it going, and I’m so grateful for your support! Your trust in my recommendations means the world to me. 🥰
1. Must Have Swaddle Blankets
Wrap your baby in cozy comfort with these must-have swaddles—like a warm hug from mommy! (Psst... check out those ‘hug me’ swaddles we adore).
2. Diapers, Diapers, Diapers!
Trust us, you can never have too many. Go for a mix of sizes—you'll need them all! 🎯 A good friend of mine recommend the brand "Honest" for my wipes, diapers and even personal health like my skin. I prefer natural things for my baby and me, so these have been my go-to. I highly recommend.
3. Wipes
Stock up on gentle, fragrance-free wipes for all those quick cleanups. Again... I recommend honest for my wipes because they use clean ingredients.
4. Onesies
Soft, snuggly, and oh-so-cute! A mix of short and long sleeves will keep baby comfy year-round. 🌞❄️ I personally think that it doesn't really matter where you want to get onesies from because they grow out of them so fast. I got majority of my onesies from amazon, but target has some good ones too. Here's a list of some of my favorites
5. Baby Bottles
I recommend Dr. Browns bottles; they work for me and my baby. Whether you’re breastfeeding or formula-feeding, having a few bottles on hand is a lifesaver. Picking the right bottle for you and your baby can feel like a challenge, especially if you have a colic baby, do your research and try different things.
6. Breast Pump
The hype around Mom Cozy Breast pumps is real! They're sleek, they come in cute packaging and most importantly they do their job. I highly recommend adding these to your registry. For breastfeeding mamas, a good pump is essential. It’ll make life so much easier—promise! 💕 Add these to your cart... asap!
7. Nursing Pillow
I plop myself onto my glider and say hello to comfy nursing sessions with this supportive pillow. They come in many colors and have been such a lifesaver for tired weak arms and tired eyes. You won't regret this purchase I know I didn't!!!
8. Pacifiers
This is another area where it's definitely trial and error, so I'll give you a recommendation that worked for mine and my good friend Danielles baby. Perfect for soothing your little one, and they come in the cutest designs!
9. Burp Cloths
Keep those baby outfits (and yours) spit-up free with these soft and absorbent cloths.
10. Baby Monitor
Our personal fave? The Nanit Pro Camera—it’s sleek, stylish, and gives total peace of mind. Pricey yea, but your baby is priceless!
11. Stroller
A versatile stroller is a must for all your adventures—big and small. (The Doona car seat and stroller duo might be right up your alley!) Consider adding to your registry, let someone else buy it for you lol
12. Car Seat
Safety first! Choose a car seat that’s both secure and easy to install. Since I personally use the Doona for now, my only other preferred option would be the Graco Turn2Me 3-in-1 Car Seat with Rotating Feature. It's just easier to use in the car and anything that makes mom life easier.. sign me up!
13. Baby Carrier
As scary as it was at first, I'm glad I learned to use this wrap. It makes me feel very close and connected with my baby, its soft and smooth. Fits super snug on me and my baby and I use it for day-to-day tasks because there's nothing, I love more than holding my sweet angel as close as possible. Keep your baby close and your hands free with a comfy carrier.
14. Diaper Bag
The one above I recommend.....Honestly, I think I was stuck on this one for the longest, so many options and styles. Comfortable to wear, spacious and be able to wear as a backpack were the three most important things to me when searching for a diaper bag. Opt for a stylish yet functional bag to carry all of baby’s essentials. Bonus points if it matches your stroller! 🎒
15. Changing Pad
A portable changing pad is perfect for diaper changes on the go. You never can predict when you'll have a blowout, but you can always be prepared, keep this in your diaper bag no matter what.
16. Crib
Not only is this crib so cute it's also beautifully designed. 6-in-1 Convertible Crib with Storage Trundle makes your life incredibly easier. Your little one’s cozy sleep space! Make sure it’s sturdy and safe.
17. Crib Mattress
Pair your crib with a firm and supportive mattress for those sweet dreams. Graco Premium Crib & Toddler Mattress was bought for me and i have no complaints, I recommend it and hope you'll love using it just as much as we do.
18. Fitted Crib Sheets
Soft, breathable, and in the cutest patterns, of course! With so many to choose from pick whatever matches your theme. I like the brand Yoofoss on amazon. I purchased a bunch of them,
19. Baby Swing
I've had my eye on this swing before I got pregnant, and it did not disappoint. I like the munchkin brand because it's easy to assemble, lightweight and portable. A cozy place for baby to relax, nap, or just hang out while you get things done.
20. Bouncer
Perfect for keeping baby entertained with gentle bouncing and maybe a few fun toys! 🎈
21. Playmat
A soft spot for tummy time and playtime this cute plushy one is perfect for your baby.
22. High Chair
If you can't tell I'm a modern mama, I love simplicity and easy to use so this aligned with my style. Your baby will need a comfy spot for all those first bites and beyond.
23. Baby Bath Tub
Make bath time a splash with a safe and snug baby tub. Put in your tub or sink for an easy bath time session every time.
24. Hooded Towels
Dry off your little one in the cutest, coziest way possible. There are a million out there and if you can't tell I pick everything off of amazon. It's just easier for me to get everything all in one place haha
25. Baby Wash & Shampoo
Not to be redundant... but of course I use Honest for my shampoo and body wash not sponsored by Honest (yet) but I sure do love and recommend them to everyone who's having a baby. Add the baby arrival set to get a mix of everything (rash cream, lotion, all-purpose balm and more.) I love products that have clean ingredients especially for my baby. Go for something gentle and tear-free for those delicate newborn baths.
26. Lotion
In the beginning of my baby's life, I used my breast milk to help her skin but slowly I've switched to... Do I even have to say it? Okay okay I will.... the Honest brand. You knew that was coming huh? I swear I'm not even a sponsor :')Keep baby’s skin soft and smooth with a nourishing lotion.
27. Diaper Cream
I won't even say it.... A must-have to protect your baby’s sensitive skin.
28. Thermometer
Remember when I said I like modern, this little modern thermometer is so cute, and I love it. Yes, for obvious reasons that it helps me get a good read but it's easy to use and perfect for travel. I will say get a regular thermometer as well because rectum temps are usually the best ones to do. Don't take my word for it, do some research. Just remember to Keep an eye on your baby’s temperature with a reliable digital thermometer.
29. Nail File
I remember feeling so anxious about trimming my baby’s tiny nails. The thought of accidentally cutting her delicate skin and causing her pain made me really nervous. I even tried out the nail file on myself first to get a feel for it. Thankfully, modern technology has made this process so much easier and less stressful. I found that baby-safe clippers or files, which are designed to be gentle and easy to use, really took a load off my mind. With tiny nails growing so quickly, it’s such a relief to have tools that make keeping them trimmed safe and hassle-free. I’m grateful for these thoughtful innovations that save me from unnecessary heartache and keep my little one’s nails perfectly managed.
30. Teething Toys
You won't need this right away but when the time comes, you're going to wish you had them on deck. I don't want to scare you but if you've been around any kids that are teething you understand the trouble this could bring. Soothing relief for those sore gums, plus they’re adorable!
31. Books
Start building your baby’s library with some classic favorites. 📚 These are mine and my fiancé's top five. They are all great registry gifts.
- Why a Daughter Needs a Dad
- Nursery Rhymes Board Book
- 365 Bedtime Stories and Rhymes
- Why a Daughter Needs a Mom
- Wishy Washy: A Board Book of First Words and Colors for Growing Minds
32. Sound Machine
Not every baby needs a sound machine, but I'm a sound mom. I sleep with a fan every night because it soothes me... lo and behold it also soothes my baby. A little white noise can help baby (and you) get some much-needed rest. This Hatch Rest Baby sound machine also doubles as a night light, so forget the harsh light and welcome in those calming nighttime wakeups.
33. Night Light
Like I said before the Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine is that girl! Perfect duo of light and sound machine. A soft glow for those late-night feedings and diaper changes.

From cute outfits to cozy jammies, you can never have too many baby clothes! Truthfully, I love a good Marshalls run or Tj Maxx run. I always find the cutest stuff there. Here is a list of my top 3 favorite stores for baby clothes.

36. Babyproofing Gear
Baby-proofing your home is an absolute must once your little one starts exploring their world. Those tiny hands are curious, and before you know it, they’re getting into everything! Babyproofing keeps your precious one safe and gives you peace of mind, so you can focus on all those sweet moments instead of worrying about bumps and bruises. 🍼💛
37. Baby Memory Book
I'm fully obsessed with my baby girl so better believe I am capturing every memory I can. Capture all those precious firsts in a beautiful keepsake book. 📖 There's plenty to choose from and Etsy has some personalized books.
38. Baby Detergent
You should always go for the least perfumed soaps, lotions and anything else that comes in contact with the baby's gentle new skin. I do my best to protect her skin with everything I use. The laundry soap is gentle on baby’s skin but tough on stains—an essential for laundry day.
39. Humidifier
Though this is certainly a splurge item, you don't know what a difference a humidifier makes until you use one. You and your family will appreciate it. There is nothing like keeping the air in baby’s room comfortable, especially during dry seasons.
40. Sippy Cups
It truly doesn't matter what cup you get for transitioning to sippy cups, but you should consider switching to the Dr. Brown's Milestones Wide-Neck Sippy Spout Bottle. The handles help hold the bottle easier, and the spout is perfect for your little one's mouth. You and your baby will love it, perfect for transitioning from bottles to big-kid cups.
41. Baby Food Maker
There was a lot of things I was excited about for my registry but this I was most excited. I bet you will too...For those who want to whip up fresh, homemade meals for their little one. In today's world there is so many additives in babies' food and our food that it sickens me. If you want the best for your baby, I recommend this for a more efficient, healthy and cheap alternative to premade baby food.
42. Baby Utensils
Lalo First Bites Silicone Baby Feeding Set! It's perfect for baby-led weaning and made from non-toxic silicone. This adorable 6-piece set includes 2 bibs, 2 spoons, a training cup, and a suction plate and bowl in a lovely oatmeal color. Ideal for helping your little one transition to self-feeding with ease! Soft, safe, and sized just right for tiny hands learning to self-feed.
43. Diaper Pail
Designed for ultimate ease, simply step, drop, and you're done. It doesn’t absorb odors, making it perfect for busy parents. With a 20-second bag change and the most economical refill system, it’s a hassle-free and cost-effective solution for diaper disposal. Contain those diaper smells with a dedicated pail.
